Description
Get picked up from your hotel in Tokyo and begin your adventure to Mt. Fuji. First, visit the Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station and get views of the Fuji Five Lakes area below. Continue to the Chureito Pagoda and stroll through the cherry blossoms to reach the top for a panoramic view of Mt. Fuji.
Next, stop at the Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Jinja Shrine. Walk through ancient, massive trees to reach the oldest wooden gate in the shrine. Continue your journey to reach the Oshino Hakkai, a World Heritage site. Marvel at the 300 cherry blossom trees and crystal clear water and visit the shops.
Keep your adventure going with a cruise across the famous Lake Kawaguchiko before climbing up the Kachi Kachi Ropeway for panoramic views. Continue to reach Oishi Park for panoramic views of Mount Fuji and the invigorating smells of a lavender flower garden.
Next, admire Lake Ashinoko, a lake formed in the caldera of Mount Hakone after the volcano’s last eruption 3,000 years ago. Today, the lake with Mount Fuji in the background is a famous symbol of Hakone.
Take a break from nature with a visit to the Gotemba Premium Outlets, a premiere shopping destination at the base of Mt. Fuji. Shop or browse outlets from Nike, Puma, Coach, Gap, Polo, North Face, Paul Smith, Bose, and many more.
Finish your tour at Owakudani, a crater created by an ancient eruption. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone filled with sulfur fumes, hot springs, and hot rivers. Marvel at the views of Mt. Fuji before heading back to Toyko.
